….I don’t necessarily get this ad.
I get the fact that the Nissan Note is spacious, but they’re making it seem like I should be surprised that the picture above is spacious. Looking at the photo above, there is no doubt in my mind that the place is huge. I don’t know.
*I want whatever the guy who made this ad was smoking.

* I feel like a lot of liquor companies are jumping on the bandwagon of showcasing their product through meaningful, deep and historical ads.
Every agency is going hard to persuade the buyer via the emotional response.
The problem with that is you get compared to other brands, and if you fall short, well, you get my point.

I had written up something prior to this regarding the “drag” line and how it could be offensive. But I have to realize that much of what comes out in advertising, especially towards women, could be deemed offensive. So opposed to ranting on about each one, I’ll choose to focus on the benefits of this ad.
The rest of the campaign can be seen here.
#Sharks like peanut butter Snickers.
I had one the other night, but wasn’t all that impressed. It was delicious, but the taste of nougat was overwhelming the taste of peanut butter.

Assuming TBWA is still handling Snickers, I would say that they hit the mark with this ad. Not sure if I’m within the target market but having sharks talk and eat people is amusing to me. Gonna try one of those Snickers Peanut Butter now.
*UPDATE* BBDO is handling the Snickers account.
